Mile High Coatings Installs Epoxy Flooring in Colorado

Protect your garage or shop floor with an epoxy floor coating. Mile High Coatings will professionally install your floor coating system to your needs and specifications. There are several options when it comes to concrete floor coatings. You can go with a simple, solid color – which you can choose from the standard color palette. Or you can get the “Showroom Look” complete with color flakes and a clear coat. Every project is unique in it’s own way so there are different preparation techniques and application methods. An estimator will be able to determine the best way to coat your floor so that it looks great and protects the concrete the way it was designed.

When it comes to epoxy flooring there are a wide array of products available depending on the application. There are thin-mil systems available for those who just want an attractive finish on their exposed concrete, chemical resistant floors for laboratories and garages. Mile High Coating’s vast experience in the flooring industry enables us to create a system for your personal needs at a competitive price.

Some benefits of epoxy flooring include:

  • Beautiful and aesthetically pleasing
  • Protect against oil and chemicals
  • Light reflectivity
  • Durability

  • Creates added “finished” space

Mile High Coatings uses only industrial grade epoxy flooring products. There are significant differences between the consumer-grade epoxy and the products we use.

We also offer a polyaspartic polyurea product (see more here) that offers enhanced performance over epoxy flooring. The product is commonly used in commercial spaces and industrial spaces where ultra-performance is demanded. There are clear differences between a polyaspartic and epoxy.

Polyaspartics offer a quick-cure (same day) and extremely fast return-to-service.  The product is fully cured within 24 hours even in the climates of Denver, Fort Collins, Longmont and other Front Range communities. It can be applied at very low temps and still perform up to standards. The polyaspartics are 3x harder than epoxy and will never chip, flake or peel.  The only drawback for the average consumer is the increased price for polyaspartics. Typically, epoxy flooring is sufficient for the average homeowner. Let us know if you’re interested in either product – we’ll be happy to provide a quote for both products.
